Manchester Freightliner Terminal

Freightliner’s Manchester Terminal is a crucial rail and distribution hub in the North West which handles approximately 20 daily Freightliner services to and from the UK’s deep sea ports.
Two rail head gantry cranes have been installed at Manchester, backed up by ancillary loaded and empty container handling equipment. These state of the art cranes can achieve up to 35% more volume than previous equipment.
Consistent infrastructure and equipment investments have enhanced operations at Manchester Terminal and increased container storage capacity.
