Our VBS is live in all our terminals

Pentalver Transport Limited today unveiled its new brand identity following its acquisition by Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (G&W) in May of this year. Pentalver has commenced re-branding its intermodal container terminals at each of the four major seaports of Felixstowe, Southampton, London Gateway and Tilbury, as well as at its Midlands terminal at Cannock, and its fleet of more than 150 trucks and vans that deliver containers to and from the terminals.

The new artwork is based on G&W’s logo, originally created by celebrated American graphic designer Milton Glaser. Amongst his other creations are the iconic “I Love NY” logo, the ‘60s psychedelic Bob Dylan poster as well as promotional work for the hit US series MADMEN. The new Pentalver logo uses “Container Logistics” to demonstrate the full range of Pentalver services that include loaded and empty container storage, container and specialist transport, cargo handling, container maintenance and repair (including refrigerated containers) as well as container sales and bespoke conversions.

The Pentalver website has also been re-designed to reflect the new brand identity.

“We’re excited to begin serving customers as a G&W-branded company. Amidst the changes that are structurally altering the global shipping industry, G&W shares our commitment to providing the safest, most reliable and efficient transportation services to the UK maritime intermodal market.”

Chris Lawrenson Pentalver Managing Director

In 2015, G&W acquired Freightliner, the UK’s largest rail maritime intermodal operator, which provides daily train service from the same key seaports served by Pentalver. G&W’s UK subsidiaries thereby provide both rail and road transportation solutions, along with container storage options at the ports and inland.
