We are very pleased to announce that Tim Shoveller joins the business today as our Chief Executive Officer of G&W UK/Europe. Tim has over 30 years’ experience in the rail industry, initially joining British Rail as a Guard at Guilford. Tim has held Managing Director roles most recently at Network Rail’s North West and Central Region but also previously at Stagecoach, South West Trains and East Midlands Trains.

Tim is also very excited to start his new role – his priority is to continue to deliver excellent service for our customers and drive growth in new markets in both the UK and Europe. Tim is looking forward to continuing to develop innovations already underway that will extend our industry leadership in safety, reliability and sustainability.

We are very much looking forward to having Tim onboard and would like to take this opportunity to thank Becky Lumlock for her great leadership over the past year.
